Four Seasons Sunrooms' Win A Free Patio Room Winner is Habitat for Humanity Recipient
Local Franchise Donates Installation
HOLBROOK, NY (February, 2000) - Anne Bonacci credits her two daughters with winning them all a free sunroom from Four Seasons Sunrooms. After all, she says, she wouldn't have been at the Houghton Lake Home Show last April if she hadn't wanted to just get out and walk around with Angela and Amanda. And being the type of person who shuns entering contests and the like, Anne said she would have never entered the sunroom contest at all if her daughters hadn't seen the Tack Building Company/Four Seasons Sunrooms display and filled out the form for her. So it is all to the credit of Angela and Amanda that Anne, her two daughters and their dog, Autumn, will be moving into a new Four Seasons Sunrooms Patio Room when their Habitat for Humanity home in Houghton Lake, MI is completed sometime this summer.
"I give all the credit to my two daughters for winning this sunroom. We went to the Houghton Lake Home Show last April just for something to do. I'm not one to enter anything, but they wanted to. I told them if they wanted to do it, go ahead, because I wasn't about to. So they did. And then, would you believe it, I got the call from Four Seasons right after my birthday!"
Four Seasons Sunrooms Corporate Offices in Holbrook, New York, ran the Win a Free Patio Room Sweepstakes last year to support their nearly 300 franchises across the United States and Canada. The winner was chosen at random early this year from among the thousands of entrants received by Dec. 20, 1999. "We couldn't be happier that Anne won our Win A Free Patio Room Sweepstakes," Four Seasons Sunrooms President Chris Esposito said. "It's always heartwarming when we can touch someone's life, but when people like Anne, Angela and Amanda win, it's just so much more rewarding."
Anne received the call from Jerry Tack, president of Tack Building Company, an authorized Four Seasons Sunrooms location, two days after her birthday, and a letter from Four Seasons Corporate Offices arrived a few days later. "I told my daughters this was the most expensive birthday present I had ever received – and it didn't cost me anything!"
It's not costing Anne anything because, although Four Seasons Sunrooms Corporate Offices in New York awarded the materials for the prize, it could not require its franchisees and dealers to install the sunroom for free. Jerry Tack took that upon himself to offer. "When I met Anne, and her two beautiful daughters, Angela and Amanda, I just knew I couldn't charge them for the installation. This is just one way I can give back to the community that supports us."
Between the cost of the sunroom and the cost of the installation, Anne, Angela and Amanda will receive a sunroom valued at approximately $13,000 or more.
Anne's Habitat for Humanity home will be built sometime this June and the Four Seasons Sunrooms crew from Tack Building will be working closely with Habitat to ensure the patio room is installed at the same time and within the same time frame as the rest of the building. Anne has already completed the "sweat equity" portion of her commitment to Habitat, and true to form, Angela and Amanda worked right along side her as she worked on prior Habitat for Humanity homes.
