Four Seasons Celebrates New Window Line with Ribbon-Cutting

Energy-Saving Windows & Doors held a formal ribbon-cutting ceremony to celebrate the introduction of its new window production line at its headquarters and manufacturing facility in Holbrook, N.Y.
Among the attendees at the ceremony were New York State Assemblywoman Ginny Fields, Islip Town Supervisor Phil Nolan, Suffolk County Legislator Bill Lindsay, Islip Town Councilmen Gene Parington and Steve Flotteron, Commissioner for Economic Development Patrick Heaney, Four Seasons CEO Patrick Marron, REHAU CEO Dr. Kathleen Saylor, Cardinal IG SGIG Plant Manager Rich Valtierra, and Four Seasons Sr. Vice President Brian Fabian. Fields, Nolan, Marron, Fabian, Valtierra and Saylor provided remarks,

They prove themselves worthy of praise and recognition for their admirable achievements. Therefore, it is with great honor and pride, on behalf of the entire New York State Assembly, that I recognize and commend Four Seasons at its Ribbon-Cutting ceremony.

Four Seasons recently dedicated an additional 25,000 square feet of manufacturing space to fabrication, including that of the new Energy-Saving Window and Door lines, at its Holbrook facility. This area, which is scalable to meet increased demand, has been outfitted with new, state-of-the-art tools and machinery to manufacture Four Seasons Energy-Saving Windows and Doors. This new machinery including a new four point welders, C.N.C. corner cleaning machines, double mitre saws, copy routers and end mill machines. Additional fixtures and punch tooling were provided by REHAU to complete processing requirements related to its System 700 and 1400 window lines and System 4500 door line.

double slider windows features well-proportioned sightlines and multi-chambered walls that promote increased strength, improved energy efficiency and efficient water drainage. The windows' pocket sill sets the sash into the frame, providing high structural performance, and interior glazing offers enhanced protection from the outside elements with a seamless sash. System 700 windows feature a 7/8-inch (22 mm) glass thickness and a lift-rail glazing stop, and are AAMA Residential H-R70, AAMA Commercial C30, CSA A440 A3, B6 and C4/C5, and Acoustical STC 35 rated.

Ideal for use in creating combinations with picture or awning window designs, the casement and picture window designs also offer a DP60 rating and performance in wind zones up to 150 mph. They additionally meet the stringent Miami-Dade County Large Missile Impact Protocol (TAS 201, 202 and 203) for hurricane impact resistance, thus satisfying the requirements for both the Florida Building Code and the Texas Department of Insurance.

With a compression seal sash that features two weather seals and multi-point locking hardware, the doors provide enhanced security and superior insulating performance. They offer exceptional sound abatement properties, can accommodate 3/4-inch (19 mm), 7/8-inch (22 mm), 1-inch (25 mm) and 1 1/8-inch (28.5 mm) glass thicknesses, and is AAMA- and CSA-rated in several categories. Options including brickmolds, jamb extensions, drywall returns, mullion covers and T-mullions are also available.
